About us
Xavier Laloux – A Montreal-born Canadian contemporary painter who has built strong relationships with several communities across Quebec. One of his most memorable moment was in 2018, when he organized, and participated in, “L’Art de s’Unir”, a collaborative mural painting project between Montreal and local Haitian artists, as reported by the Montreal Gazette.
Xavier Laloux's creativity leads the viewers into a poetic, limit-free world, combining abstract and figurative features. Laloux’s art brings transparency into human emotions by exploring recurrent themes: freedom, creativity, motivation, love, and most importantly, the discomfort of growth. A committed artist, he uses his talent to communicate what is close to his heart, inspire the viewers and give joy to those facing difficulties and challenges.
Xavier Laloux has been invited to multiple events to perform or paint live on stage, including Quebec’s popular “Francofolies” and the “Quebec City Summer Festival”, in addition to attending fundraising events for charities, such as the Canadian Mental Health Association – Montreal Branch.
